Jet Ski Rental Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment

A booking request does not confirm your rental. Your reservation is confirmed once the required payment has been received and processed and we have sent your booking confirmation.
For 15-minute, 30-minute and 1-hour rentals, full payment is required to secure your booking.
For 3-hour and 6-hour rentals, a $100 USD booking deposit per jet ski is required. The remaining balance is due before departure.
All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD).
A separate refundable security deposit is required before rental, as explained below.

Rental Durations & Prices

Prices below are per jet ski and are quoted in US dollars (USD).

Refundable Security Deposit

A $500 USD security deposit per jet ski is required before the rental begins.
This is separate from your rental payment or booking deposit.
The unused security deposit will be refunded or released after the jet ski and equipment have been returned and inspected.
Deductions may apply for loss or damage for which you are responsible under the rental agreement. Any deduction will be explained to you.
The security deposit does not limit your responsibility for damage or loss under the signed rental agreement.

Age, Identification & Participation

Under our rental policy, drivers must be at least 16 years old.
A parent or legal guardian must be present and sign the rental waiver for any driver or passenger under 18.
Valid government-issued photo identification is required for the rental and for any parent or legal guardian signing for a minor.
All drivers must be capable of operating the jet ski safely and must follow our instructions.
Only drivers authorized by Peace of Cayman Excursions may operate the jet ski.
All participants must complete the applicable rental waiver before taking part.

Arrival & Return

Follow the meeting location and arrival instructions provided in your booking confirmation.
Allow time before riding to complete identification checks, payment, the waiver, equipment inspection and the mandatory safety briefing.
The jet ski and all supplied equipment must be returned at the agreed return time and location.
Contact us promptly if you are delayed or experience a problem during your rental.
If you arrive late, your riding time may be reduced to maintain the scheduled return time. No refund is provided for time lost because of your late arrival.
If you arrive after your scheduled rental period has ended, the booking is treated as a no-show.

Safety Briefing & Operating Rules

Every driver must complete the safety briefing before operating the jet ski.
Life jackets are provided and must be worn by drivers and passengers throughout the ride.
Follow all operating boundaries, speed restrictions, no-wake zones, hand signals and staff instructions.
Keep a safe distance from swimmers, snorkelers, reefs, docks and other vessels.
Reckless riding and unauthorized use are prohibited.
Do not operate a jet ski while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that impairs judgment or safe operation.

Fitness to Participate

Participants must be physically and mentally able to take part safely.
Tell us before your rental about any medical concern, injury or limitation that may affect safe participation.
Ride within your ability and follow staff instructions throughout the rental.

Equipment & Damage

Inspect the jet ski and supplied equipment before departure and report any existing damage or concern to staff.
Return the jet ski and equipment in the same condition as received, allowing for ordinary wear and tear.
You are responsible for loss or damage caused by misuse, collision, grounding, negligent operation, unauthorized use or failure to follow instructions, as set out in the rental agreement.
Report any collision, damage or equipment problem to us immediately.

Guest Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you cancel 48 hours or more before your scheduled rental, your rental payment or booking deposit will be fully refunded.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled rental, your rental payment or booking deposit is non-refundable.
Rental payments and booking deposits are non-refundable for no-shows.
Contact us by WhatsApp or email to request a cancellation or date change. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
The separate security deposit is not a cancellation fee.

Weather & Operator Cancellations

We may delay, modify, shorten or cancel a rental because of weather, sea conditions, mechanical issues, regulatory requirements or safety concerns.
If we cancel before departure for one of these reasons, you may choose a full refund of your rental payment or booking deposit, or reschedule to another available date.
Follow staff directions if conditions change during your rental.
If we end your rental early because of unsafe weather or sea conditions, mechanical failure not caused by the renter, or another operational issue on our side, you may choose a proportional refund for unused riding time or credit for that time toward another available rental.
Refunds are calculated using the price paid for your booked rental and the proportion of riding time not provided.
This does not apply when the rental ends because of unsafe behaviour, rule violations or damage caused by the renter.

Refusal or Termination of a Rental

We may refuse or stop participation if a guest is intoxicated, behaves unsafely, fails to follow instructions or does not meet the stated age, identification or waiver requirements. In these circumstances, the rental payment or booking deposit is non-refundable.
If we determine that a guest cannot participate safely for a health or physical reason, despite meeting the stated booking requirements, we will refund the unused portion of the affected jet ski rental. If that rental has not started, its rental payment or booking deposit will be refunded.
Any refund for a rental that has already started is calculated using the price paid for the affected jet ski rental and the proportion of riding time not provided.

Rental Waiver

Jet ski use involves risks, including falls, collisions, changing sea conditions, equipment problems and injury.
Before participating, you must read and sign the separate Jet Ski Rental Agreement, Assumption of Risk, Release of Liability, and Indemnity Agreement.
These website terms and the signed rental agreement should be read together.
